AB OmsorgsCompagniet i Norden has been in operation since 2003. We are currently established in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Örebro, and Trollhättan. OmsorgsCompagniet i Norden provides personal assistance, companionship services, support in daily living, and housing support.

About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to join a supportive team that works in close collaboration with a client who uses a wheelchair due to a spinal cord injury.

Your role will include assisting with daily routines such as:

- Toileting, bathing, and dressing
- Transfers in and out of bed or wheelchair (with lifting equipment available)

- Assisting with physical training and rehabilitation exercises

- Support with meals

You will work a combination of day and night shifts, weekdays and weekends, for the purpose of maintaining a fair rotating schedule across the assistant team. Your schedule will be set in accordance with team fairness and work-life balance.

A separate assistant room is available for use during rest and overnight shifts.

About the Client:

“I have been living with a spinal cord injury for 14 years and now use a wheelchair. I am independent in spirit but require physical support in daily routines. What makes this setup work is an assistant who is truly motivated to learn, communicate, and improve together with me. You don’t need to have previous experience – the will to learn is far more important.

I don’t have pets, I don’t smoke, and I’m looking for a professional and respectful working relationship.”

About You:

- Reliable, kind, and patient

- Strong communication skills

- Physically able to assist with lifting (with support tools)

- Willing to learn and adapt to established routines

- Fluent in English (Swedish is a plus but not required)
